It wasnt until i started reading 'Undercover User Experience' that i'd even heard of 'UX design'. We havent actually learnt about the theories behind how we interact with interfaces, and instead did trial and error and i did user testing and feedback as i went along.
So far some things have stuck out to me, and i have made notes on these.
-Content auditing: content is very important
-HCI Theory
-Heuristic evaluation: choosing the most important user tasks & reviewing these first
-What makes a good interface: made for humans, forgiving, accessible, self-evident, predictable, efficient & trustworthy
